Black Earth Wisdom Virtual Keynote

After purchasing the Virtual Keynote through our store, you will be sent a link to view the keynote within 72 hours (not including the weekend) through Vimeo. Please note that you will need a Vimeo account in order to access the video. If you need the link sooner, please let us know by emailing love@soulfirefarm.org after your purchase. Once you open the link and accept the invitation, you will have 7 days to watch the keynote until your access expires. The link can only be redeemed once so unfortunately access can't be shared with others. Please plan accordingly and consider screen sharing via Zoom or another platform if streaming the keynote to a group.

Description

Ecological humility is part of the cultural heritage of Black people. While our 400+ years immersion in racial capitalism has attempted to squash that connection to the sacred earth, there are those who persist in believing that the land and waters are family members, and who act accordingly. 

In the Black Earth Wisdom virtual keynote, Leah Penniman and the Soul Fire Farm team weave together 9 lessons from today’s most respected Black environmentalists, those who have cultivated the skill of listening to what the Earth has whispered to them. This beautifully curated cinematic experience takes viewers on a poetic journey through Black ecological thought.

Pricing Levels/Information
There are several levels on this sliding scale based on our booking fee model, essentially we ask that larger organization with more resources contribute more.

The categories are:

• Large Organizations (Budgets over $1.25M)
• Medium Organizations (Budgets between $1.25M - $500K)
• Small Organizations (Budgets under $500K)
• BIPOC Organizations in the Capital District (Budgets between $250 - $100K)
• Small BIPOC Organizations in the Capital District (Budgets under $100K)

Individual License

• Used for private viewing only with close friends or family. No admission will be charged and no public screening, recording, or distribution will take place.
